Front/Rear Bumpers & Aerodynamic Kit
Sporty front/rear bumper and wide-body kit development for the Ford Mustang (2015/2018)
For the Ford Mustang (2015/2018), we developed a complete sporty appearance modification kit, covering the integrated design of front lip, rear diffuser, side skirts and rear wing. Based on retaining the original mounting points, the wide-body styling enhances visual tension while optimizing aerodynamic performance, achieving a perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality.
--- Project Highlights ---
1. Wide-body styling & stance optimization: Based on the Mustang’s classic muscle-car lines, we created a second interpretation; widening the fenders and side skirts lowers the visual center of gravity, creating a more aggressive low-slung stance and significantly enhancing the sporty character.
2. Aerodynamic performance: The front lip and rear diffuser shapes were designed with airflow management to effectively increase downforce at high speed; the wing angle was specifically tuned to reduce drag interference while improving visual effect.
3. Non-destructive installation & high adaptability: The structural design strictly scanned the original vehicle data to ensure uniform DTS (gap/flushness) between accessory parts and the original body panels, headlights and taillights; using original-hole installation, no body cutting is required, adapting to multiple sub-models from 2015-2018.
4. Material process & lightweighting: High-strength composite materials (e.g., PP/ABS or carbon-fiber texture) were selected to control weight while ensuring impact resistance, and various surface-treatment options were provided to meet different customers’ customization needs.
